Liberty Electric and Solar of Delaware is proud to announce the successful completion of a facility upgrade at Canal Little League, located near People’s Plaza in Bear, Delaware. This project supports the league’s mission to provide a safe, welcoming environment for youth baseball and softball — now with brighter, more efficient field lighting to match.

Liberty Electric and Solar was brought in to overhaul the league’s aging electrical infrastructure and prepare the site for new, energy-efficient lighting. Working closely with league organizers, our team delivered the following upgrades:

Scope of Work:

• Installed new meter boxes to support expanded capacity

• Ran underground electrical wiring for safety and improved appearance

• Installed a new transformer to handle the electrical load for high-powered field lights

• Prepared the infrastructure for brighter, modern lighting to improve visibility for players and fans

This project not only modernizes the league’s setup but also improves nighttime visibility, making evening games safer and more enjoyable for the community
